My Go-to Travel Items | Travel Must-Haves

I enjoy traveling. Through my travels, I’ve accumulated some items that I use over and over. These things are things I bought and use on my travels. I know everyone has their own traveling favorites or traveling go-to’s, but here is my list.

If you’re looking for some things to get to prepare you for your travels, check the list below:

Hard shell suitcase: I got my current hard shell suitcase from TJMaxx, but I think any hard shell suitcase works. I prefer hard shell because I find that it’s more tear-proof and weather-proof compare to fabric.

Travel backpack: I got this travel backpack last year, and I love it! I love all the pockets and different compartments. It’s easy to pack and store a ton! If you’re looking for a weekend getaway backpack or just a travel backpack for shorter trips, highly recommend this one.

Packing cubes: I LOVE using packing cubes. They are a game changer in my packing. They make packing so much easier and I can pack a lot more than if I just put everything in my suitcase or backpack. Highly recommend if you’re looking into using packing cubes. I haven’t found ones that I prefer. All the ones I’ve used are all great.

Camera bag (full review here): I love the chic look of this camera. It has cushion and removable flap to protect your camera and lens. It also has extra pockets for storage. Love the adjustable strap too. A cute camera bag for a day out!

Portable charger: I take a portable charger with me whenever I travel. It comes in handy especially because I know I’ll be using my phone to capture videos and photos throughout the day. Highly recommend bringing along a portable charger if you’ll be using your phone. I use this one, but all of the portable chargers I’ve used in the past were all good.

Toiletry bag: I’ve been using this Aloha bag for years! And it’s still one of my favorite go-to bag for my toiletries. It’s spill proof, water-resistance and easy to clean. It also stores all my skincare and makeup in one place. I also love that I can pack this into my backpack or into my suitcase with no issue.

Neck Pillow: I don’t bring my neck pillow on short plane rides or short road trips, but I do bring it on longer plane rides. It helps me to sleep more comfortably which I appreciate. I got mine in one of the stores inside the airports.

Those are all the things I’ve used time and time again that I enjoy. If I were to get new items, they would be very similar ie hard shell suitcase.

When it comes to traveling, it’s important to do what works for you. Everyone has different needs and different reasons as to why they travel. I have found that it’s best for me to get items that work for me.

I hope you found this list helpful!
