About Amway Grand Plaza Hotel
If you’ve lived in the Grand Rapids, MI or have visited West Michigan, you may have heard of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
Amway Grand is not only known to be a historic hotel but it’s a beautiful venue for special events as well. When I lived in Grand Rapids, MI during my undergrad, there were events hosted there.
When you enter the hotel you’ll notice the grandness of it. You’ll see the infamous chandelier light and notice the different restaurant and shops all on the first floor.
The interior is beautiful. I would describe it has historic, grand, and charming.
We stayed in the 1 King Tower Luxury Suite Grand River room.
This suite is absolutely amazing with the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the river.
The suite is also spacious with the bedroom separate from the living space.
A few more things about Amway Grand:
It’s conveniently located downtown which makes it close to restaurants and shops. Everything I within walking distance so you won’t have to worry about parking.
There is a parking garage available for Amway Grand customers. The parking garage connects to the hotel through a walkway which means you don’t have to walk outside if the weather is bad.
It has a fitness center and pool. It also comes with great amenities in the case that you need extra tooth brush, tooth paste or other toiletries.
